Iron-PawW (and others)
Alan from RanOx here again.
ARB central office have certainly been made aware of the "need" for boosting, on modern CRD engines. :?
In March 2009, we spoke with them (new products section) and supplied them plots illustrating the problem. :?
Evidently they have decided that there is no "real" issue

Hi Alan and other readers of this topic,

As an ex automotive electronics manufacturer (one of my past lives), I am acutely aware of the incredible inertia in large organisations.
I am extremely happy with BOTH of my RanOxen and they provide the ultimate solution to my very real needs. That is why you haven't heard from me for ages!

Cheers - John

Gents

I'll provide a better run down on how well the RanOx served me on my recent trip to the Kimberly when I get a bit more time.

But in the short term if there are any suffering from charge issues (like so many I came across in the past two months) then give Alan a ring.

We had two cars, no solar, 80ltr fridge / 50ltr fridge / lights etc and for the most part had power on demand.

These are a TOP UNIT!
