      I'm still a possible Glen.

Have to try and find time to fit the compressor and UHF and I should be there.

Whether to tackle Spanish steps in a standard car... that will be the question. May have to go the RHS of shame!

Ben no worries mate, you can even start on the far left to avoid the first step, hehe

Oh, them's fighting words... that sounds like a challenge to me!

In all seriousness, how are they these days? I haven't done the steps for close to a year.

Think it would be possible in a standard height car?

              Hehe

I was there earlier this year and they're exactly the same as before, except perhaps that first step, which is slowly getting dug out more.

I definitely wouldn't take a standard Prado through the Spanish Steps, or a standard Ute of any kind, but a new 76 series should be okay From what I recall, they have pretty good clearance from stock... would you agree? I would say take it very slow, pack some rocks if necessary, get snatched up a step if necessary... but no pressure, it's up to you. There's absolutely no obligation for anyone to follow me as I've been up the steps many times by myself, once even with a broken CV (that was game!).

All, remember, I'm arranging the day so that the hard part is the latter half of the day, so anyone who does not wish to drive the Spanish Steps does not need to.

I will see how it goes in the first part of the day and then make a decision. I'm used to having lots of both clearance and wheel travel, so am going to have to alter my driving style, which unfortunately is well ingrained. This will be the first test of the car as I haven't done anything in it yet.

Clearance seems ok, better than most. Mudflaps (which are HUGE) will be removed prior to save a rock doing it for me somewhere out there.

For some reason it is two steps thing here.
First - you will need to add your sig in your profile page. About Me > Signature
Second - when replying the post, in "Additional Options" and tick "Show your signature"
It should then show your sig.

Would like to come along, definitely for the easier bits, might give the spanish steps a miss.
Question: I'll bring my 6year old son. Do any of the others bring their kids too?
