I'm keen to know more about your hand brake mods. Larger drum and shoes that won't wear out so bloody fast?

With new shoes (Toyota), brand new slotted rotors (RDA), and a thorough adjustment according to the Haynes manual, my hand brake was still useless. The solution.. ?? I'm keen to know more about your hand brake mods. Larger drum and shoes that won't wear out so bloody fast, well now declan you have the rear locker you wont have to use the poormans diff lock any more lolhad an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.Comment

I'm pretty sure the auto's torque converter is working overtime, so next is 4.88 ratios to get some power back. I've just ordered the parts from the states while the rates are still reasonable.

In order to make use of the added clearance from the body lift, maybe you should look into a custom transmission mount to lift it 1.5". hmm, yes, the body lift has opened up several interesting options. I'll be looking at unusual mods like that over the long term - as long as it doesn't create a battle between fan and radiatorOriginally posted by williade View Post
