OzTent in Prado?

Hi PP

How would you go about transporting an OzTent RV-5 tent in the 150 series prado? I measured from the tailgate to the passenger seat (front) with the 2nd row seats down and measures 1.83 metres, however the OzTent is 2m long packed up. Any ideas to fit it?

You might gain a bit if it went in on an angle as apposed to straight. Just my thoughts.

When i collected ours in the 120 it was a must have over the centre console. when setting out i put the basket on the roof, filled and then tied it down on that.

This is the plan until i purchase a pioneer platform next month

I bought a F25X Jet tent because it was able to fit across the boot/cargo area in a 120.

Make sure it is fully supported rather than just sitting on cross bars.
