Light below PRNDL and aircon dials

Hello All,

I have purchased a 99 Modelpetrol GXL about a year ago. Best car ive owned by far. The illumination lights behind the aircon dials and below the PRNDL do not seem to work?
How can i get to them?
Is there a fuse?
If you can give me any links to other threads would be great.

More than likely it will be a couple of globes blown behind the unit you will need to replace.

Light below PRNDL

There will also be an earth to part of the (steel) chassis. with 2 things gone it might be 2 globes, but equally might be earth.
Remember there has to be a circuit all the way back to the negative battery terminal. Steel cars use the chassis as a conductor.

If you don't find blown globes ( always go this route first ) start tracking the (usually ) black wires back to the chassis.
