  • Reverse Sensor false reading

    G'day all,
Having a small reverse sensor issue over the last few days. On some (maybe 30%) of times my sensors will give me a constant beep and display that the centre sensors have an obstacle.
Only seems to happen right after the brake is released but happens momentarily. If the brake is depressed upon release it will happen again.
    Factors that may help:
    - Have been in Darwin humidity and rain for a week
    - Thoroughly cleaned sensors with INOX and a good scrub
    - No rear end impacts have occurred recently
    - Deep water crossing 5 weeks ago, no water ingress to car and only 5 second crossing.
    - No modifications to electrics in last 3 or 4 months

    Cheers

Dust or water ingress can upset them.
Mine get finicky. Sometimes a blast of compressed air helps. Or a hit with the hose.
