Hi guys,
Have been doing a bit of online searching and numerous phone calls later I'm in need of some assistance. I'm chasing a suspension upgrade(L/H rear airbag is leaking) for my 08 Prado Grande(V6). I wish to replace the rear airbags with coils and with an approx 40-50mm lift. I have just been in contact with a local stockist(Climax Suspension) in Newcastle and and trying to chase up the appropriate Bilstein shocks and King springs. After hours of pradopoint research about correct shocks/springs I'm trying to find the stockists of:
Front shock: 24-238762
Front Spring: KTFR-101
Rear shock: 24-217897
Rear coil: ?? (Am about to install rear draws and a fridge in the coming month- plus tow a boat with an approx tow ball weight of 80kg)
The sales rep I was speaking to believes they were a Melbourne suspension(Quadrant) part number and have since been bought out. He explained he didn't believe they manufactured those shocks anymore and explained they use the kits with the A712/713 shocks which has been spoken about on here and not recommended to use.
So my question is who stocks the above shocks and springs?? Surely someone still is a dealer of my required shocks/Springs. Hope someone can help!
Thanks in advance
Regards
Mitch
