My 2003 1KD has almost 250.000km - the clutch is starting to slip in the higher gears if you give it too much torque at the wrong moment. While it could go another 20k or more km on the current clutch with careful handling, I'm going to go ahead and have it changed (with the original Aisin).
I wanted to ask everyone if there's anything else they'd do, service-related or preventative, while replacing the clutch. Rear main seal, for example?
