Hi Guys, new member here, sorry if this has been asked before...
I have a 120 GXL which I believe has a 100kg roof carrying capacity. I want to fit some Thule roof bars to carry a tinnie which weighs about 70kg. I already have the bars (2, rated at 100kg capacity), so I just need some feet to attach them to the anchor points on the roof (which doesn't have rails).
Now, my question: The roof has attachment points from three bars. Do I need to use three bars to get the 100kg roof capacity, or can I put the full load on two bars?
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Cheers
