The Disco's got them. Not essential, but can be useful. When I delved into the Disco specs, they didn't seem that practical... i.e. can't go faster than 10K etc etc, not recommended while serious/extreme off roading (perhaps for flash flooding in suburbia then?)

To be useful though, it probably needs to be able to work at slightly faster speeds and accurately give a depth readout quickly.

I did a quick search online with limited (no) success.

Anyone out there have experience with marine sonar depth finders... just curious to see if some of those can be adopted to 4x4 rigs.

Haha yeah, I think mine misses the "jesus bar" from the 80 series at times when offroading- I swear she's put claw marks into the dash.
