Digging up and old thread here, because my cruise control has just started playing up and I suspect I'm about to go through the same process.
Gordon, if you had not forgotten to plug in the SAS connector in the first place would it have all been fine without the need to intervene with techstream? I don't have techstream or the OBD2 dongle so am wondering if I'm better off buying a clockspring with SAS and paying the $500 and avoiding the hassle, or buying one without the SAS?
