Location of starter motor and service guide?

Hi all,

Can someone tell me where to find the starter motor on a RHD KZJ90?

I've got a 1KZ-TE automatic.

I want to take out my starter motor and service it after it's done nearly 180,000 kms.

Does anyone have a service guide?

Would you recommend a rebuild kit or just to pull it apart and give it a clean?

Not sure about the diesel but my 90 series petrol has it on drivers side with access through the wheel well. Remove wheel and plastic guard to access. Absolute bastard of a job until you've done it a few times and work out the short cuts. DO NOT have to remove the steering rack or any steering components which is what a lot of Google instructions tell you! Once you're good at it it only takes about 20 minutes to remove but first time allow a couple of hours for the whole job. Remove, dismantle and clean, replaces contacts reassemble and refit.
