  • Taking LPG tank out

Hi everyone I'm after some info about LPG tanks.
My 06 glx runs on both petrol and LPG and I'm thinking about taking the LPG tank which is at the rear of the vehicle and replacing it with a petrol sub tank.
    Has anyone done this??
Is it easy to do or is it quite costly and need a lot of things changed??
Reason for thinking of changing as I've driven from Perth to Darwin and not 1 station except Perth had LPG so had to fill up at every station along the way plus Darwin's LPG is the same price as petrol and with vehicles with LPG tending to use more LPG than what it would with petrol it end's up being more expensive having it so i don't fill it up so its just a dead weight really.
Any information would be great otherwise ill just have to keep it as it is.

Which way did you go? I know for certain that there's LPG at most of the larger centres along Highway 1 going east and north, and also Kalgoorlie through the centre.

Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.
