This is the 120 design. Will take about a week to get a prototype to check fitment.

Whoa! 650g each? The Bilstein guards are only a few grams. Sure, the billie version doesn't protect the shock bolt though.

Could these be made lighter? Maybe lighter gauge steel? Adding weight here is directly increasing unsprung weight, we already have heaps of it...

          120 rear shock stone guards

Did a test fit tonight. It fit up OK and looks good. Just need to move a hole over a bit to make it line up a bit better.

I'll get a batch ordered as there seems to be more interest in 120 guards than 150.

a question concerning the fitting of the shock guard for those who have already fitted them, did you raise the vehicle of the ground so that the suspension had no load on it?,my concern is stored energy with the shock when I go to unbolt the bottom mounting bolt to fit the guards as I don't want risk being taken out by the shock when I start fitting the guards.

                          cheers.

I left the vehicle on the ground. The shocks don't come off when you remove the lower mounting bolt.

Left mine on the ground as well, just remove the bolt that holds the washer in place, it is not actually holding the shock, the shock is on a metal rod, that the bolt threads into. There isn't even any need to remove the wheels to fit them.
