When the gear doesn't shift, the natural inclination is to ease off the pedal (and that's what most peeps do). It works for me too... but i also found that instead of keeping the throttle constant when the gear is stuck, when I start giving it more juice (the rate at which I do it obviously changes with road conditions) it also shifts (probably because I push it (and the speed!) pass the grey area where gear change is rife with indecision). In hindsight 'flooring' would seem a bad choice of words... 'more throttle' is a better choice, perhaps?

I have the driveline bump, mentioned it in the other thread, and recently have noticed a delay/hesitancy for it change down to a lower gear, havent noticed it for higher gears. I attributed it to the non spec tyres but I cant recall it always being this way. Wouldnt surprise me if theres an element of learning in some of the ecu activities, and is now out of whack.Comment
