                What, like a Jeep?

                I know, a Range Rover :-)
I noticed a nice jeep today . He was coming towards me , luckily on the other side of a crash fence . His headlight was on and I mean only the passenger side one . He put on his indicator to change lanes and the drivers side headlight started flashing , when he cancelled the indicator he went back to just the one headlight and his daytime running lights .
A Range Rover ? You could do a lot better and get a discovery . Much more reliable .
Hey MLC check out this new show on channel 73 I think on Tuesday nights , called strip and rip . They make some beautiful new cars , mostly with diesels .
03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . RTFM people !

Discovery is fine, prices you have a thousand plus for each service. There is always something broken, or major that needs replacing and can't be fixed.

My bosses one was a work hack for four years, and now the missus runs it and 200,000km it had had both front A-arms replaced, and the both need doing again. $1200 ea, the turbos both need replacing, they were replaced at 100k, cost $3k each, brakes are $1000 replacement and need doing every 40k thanks to the inbuilt sensors, only LR supply them. And a qualified LR mech. Has to do them.

Tyres if still 19" are $600 ea, expect to replace them every 18months or 40k, the 20" last longer, especially if you can get some coopers.

Painted plastics will strip off in the first 100k, this one has a vinyl wrap on the bumper and grill to cover it now. Too dear to replace.

Turbo drain pipes block, expect $1500 to clear.

If you don't go to LR for service, you won't get software updates, and believe me you need them, this one always said the cruise was unavailable and the engine kept reverting to reduced performance. Bugs in the engine software to blame and once updated has reduced the incidents.

                  You get the idea.

They said that's why they are driving a new truck but it is only a 5.7l Hemi not a diesel.
