Do you have some more trip details, rough planned route? Where planning to camp?
We might just come on your trip if the weather is desirable.
How many have you got room for?
Where have you said that your defiantly doing a trip every weekend in NOV I don't know that.
You have been into Wonnangatta and camped there, good for your kids if you bring them. We might try for the shelter on Humffrays track if we can come down from the top .
If you don't want to do a day drive on that weekend everyone is welcome, you said (we) don't know how many your talking about.
If it's a bit wet the people that came with me on the GTG will know how much fun the track's are.

Anyway if you want to come your welcome.

Prados have floated in Maccalister river, but likely not with little or no rain.
I think stock Prado will be ok, maybe pick your line carefully is some spots.

So camping in Wonnangatta sweet!!! sounds nice.
Heading out via billy goats sounds great too.

Count me and the two boys in Anders also.
I'll throw one of my chainsaws in also.
Mrs and the baby will sit this one out as well...

I'll have another spot for a mate in a 79 twin locked, 33s and winch.

It's still a bit early IMHO to be saying for certain where the group will be camping as the planned routes will always change, plus as Pete has insisted 'we'd better be doing some hard f'ing tracks!' things could get interesting as I'm sure there will be a few detours. I'm sure Anders is hanging to try his new suspension out as well, I would too if I'd spent 12 hours bolting and pressing everything together.

If you can get another convoy of 5-10 we could always meet up at an agreed camp ground. It'd be a mini Vic gtg.

I will be looking forward to relaxing & tagging along for a change rather than organising & leading

Herne Spur in the wet, how many hours did we spend on that hill for the GTG . Question to group?do you want to try Herne Spur even though the map said don't try in the wet, Answer yes .

Sunny not a bad idea if more people want to come, Limit of ten unless we do split into 2 groups.
                  2 more spots.

                    Hahahaaaaa......

Wet wet wet! in November?, lets hope! They were just driving like pussys you showed them how it was done

An old route we used to do, not done for years, but been meaning to re-visit in a weekender.
                    Start: Licola, Glencairn,
Down black soil gully, then macalister track, lots of river crossings which are real if they have not made those easy like most other tracks.
Then butcher country track, onto zeka into wonnangatta.
Then herne & wombat to billy goats.
Great route, happy to tag along, just putting the route out there for you consideration. Used to be hard, but like most tracks especialy high country maybe easier now if dry.

                            JUST DUST!

So we were out 6 days cup weekend & had a little rain, still some dust. Even though slippery nuff, we had 4 wheels spinning & sliding back down backwards & fast Gave the truck a good clean up & light polish after that trip.

Last 2 weeks still a bit of rain, but no real mud or slipryness, very dusty, in fact just hosing the dust off had the vehicle looking like it was just polished again.

I promise 2 high country day trips & no soap or sponge used ^^ About now your probably thinking what polish? Mee too.
I think not putting harsh cleaners to it leaves the polish there for much longer. It also appears to have helped reduce pin stripes big time, because we went through some super overgrown tracks. The vehicle behind me was trashed! But it will come up ok.

So I think expect some dust not mud & tracks should be drivable no problems, so don't be shy & come along.
I will tell you what polish I used! its Looking like perfect camping weather!

I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve today!! I'm so excited to get to the high country this weekend.

I asked the boys if they were excited and what they are most looking forward to: Noah the 4 year old is most looking forward to seeing Sunny again!! I think you've got a fan Sunny! 😀
