Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.

Some more details,
Driving down Pacific Highway at Pymble in peak hours yesterday, car stalled while stopped in traffic. I restarted it, got about 200m more then it stalled again. Tried to start, no go. Managed to roll it across 2 lanes of traffic into a carpark without brakes and steering. Tried to start again, cranks but nothing. Checked all fuses, seemed fine. It had bullbar and towbar and transmission and sump guards installed by TJM that morning, but had done 50km or so since. Towie dropped it off blocking the doors into the service dept at the dealer I purchased from.
Service Manager called me around 730 this morning, asking whats wrong. I said thats a bloody good question mate, you tell me. Explained the story and he didnt think it would have been the bullbar or towbar as he regularly sends vehicles to this TJM dealer.
Now awaiting a call once they figure out wtf is wrong with it. Towie reckons it's out of diesel and the guage is wrong. Showing quarter tank of fuel and 392km of range left.

It looks like the same dealer that dismissed the blown injector seal on my car. At least yours is under warranty, so they will get there in the end.Last edited by Corigator; 21-10-2015, 08:22 PM.Greg - 08 D4D Prado,

It amazes me.... that Toyota Dealerships don't seem to know the workings of their own products....cheers..... Rob (macca)
