  • 150 series clutch

Anyone around here adjusted the clutch or changed the clutch on a 150 series? Is there any info or posts on here that I just cant find??
    Cheers

I have replaced one clutch in a 150, very similar to the 120. There is no clutch adjustment as such, the only adjustment is the pushrod length for the master cylinder as far as I'm aware, all it does is give you free play before the master cylinder starts moving. What do you want to know about the clutch??

      Hi Andy,
ive adjusted the free play at the pedal and im thinking it might need to be replaced soon. Just wondering how hard it is. Is there any how-to guides on here?
      Any special tools required?
Is the box REALLY heavy (2 blokes lift) etc etc

Don't know how heavy the box will be, but I'm guessing 2 people for sure. I used a transmission adapter for the trolley jack for the one I did. I doubt you will find a how too, these jobs are usually for the well prepared home mechanic. I wouldn't recommend diving into this sort of job unless you are sure you know what you're doing. The only specialist type tool other than a good toolbox would be some sort of clutch aligning tool. Problem with doing it at home is im guessing you will need the full weekend set aside and finding someone to machine your flywheel on a Saturday arvo.
