The car club I belong to (http://www.500carclub.com.au/), one of our safety gents has a tyre shop. Most of the boys in big 100 series cruisers and 2 Hilux run them. They love them, as they are pretty hard wearing - and have good grip on the forestry roads!

I think that you will be pleased with them.

Hi cfryback. I did a bit of research before I made my purchase. I was very surprised to see these tyres outperform duellers and BFG, with a price fitting closer to my budget. I am very pleased.

        Thanks for your feedback.

I just got a Prado on the weekend. It came with Dunlop Grandtrek AT22s. I would say they are fine for highway but later I will probably need to change them as don't look very aggressive grip for the bush. They don't have any sidewall protection either. Doesn't look like many kms on them either, so hopefully can sell them. Yokohamas, BG, Coopers all are possibilities.

Sounds good to me Golly. I have only used them on the black stuff and a bit of gravel west of Brisbane. I am very happy.

                Hey Robbo,
I went the Yokos as I don't do a lot of heavy bush/rock hopping. Just tow a van and beach work. They are extremely comfortable which surprised me. I had Maxxis AT-700 on before I got the Yokos. The price was about $285 a tyre for 275/65/17. I think they beat the BFG and Coopers for bang for buck, and perform as good if not better than those big names out there.

Now follows my next few questions:

                  1. What sort of price would those Yoko Geolanders be? I think I saw $375 on tyresales.com.au?
                  2. How much do you reckon I could sell used Grandtrek AT22s for 2nd hand but good condition?
                  3. Is it worth buy 5, or keep the spare as Dunlop as probably wouldn't really use it going bush?

                  Thanks

I was in a Bob Janes yesterday chasing up some tyres for a camper. They have a promo starting tomorrow that had 4 for the price of 3. I specifically asked about the G012's and was told they are included.

Price quoted verbally was $280 per tyre for 265/65/17.

I will ask my tire guy about these, they look tough, never had a problem with my old Yokohama 056, these appear to have a tougher looking thread pattern.

                        Thanks

I think prices varies for yoko Geolanders, if you saw it for about $375, look at this https://www.tyroola.com.au/yokohama-...4d0746791.html - It's the same brand and size but their site says it's $289 each. I wonder for other sites, you can also check it out.
