EXTRA INFO: This 2003 Toyota Landcruiser Prado GX Manual 4x4 has the ever reliable 1KZ Diesel motor that goes extremely well and is cheap and simple to service and maintain. It has plenty of rego left and expires in 8 months.
This Prado started its easy life as a country council car before being purchased by a friend who ensured it was serviced by a reliable mechanic every 5000km. When the car came up for sale I purchased it due to knowing the history and have continued to service it ever 5000 km including using the same mechanic for some of this servicing. It has been ultra reliable and I have no doubt that this reliability will continue. It has always been garaged when not being used which was often as I have a work ute as my daily drive. We have used it mainly as a touring car with regular runs between NSW and Qld.
It is fitted with many extras to make it a great touring vehicle including towbar with electric brakes, snorkel, dual batteries with power to rear to run fridge etc, cargo barrier, bullbar with IPF driving lights and roof racks, add that to the standard 180 litre fuel tank for a touring range in excess of 1200km.
