I have factory HUD in my car and I like it. Very useful. The Pie on ear system as an add on system seems to be a big compromise. Your eyes are directed up and away from your driving position so it seems to me not a good solution. It doesn't help that the promotion material is appalling and I lost interest part way through the video. Given the whole idea is keeping your eyes on the road I think it is a fail. Just my opinion obviously.
That pioneer one means you can't use the sun visor once it's velcroed on, and it attaches by usb to your phone. So a long cable for routing. Something to consider. Dash mount might've better
I like the idea though.

GenF HSV GTS, the R8 SV and some of the higher model Commodores have it too. Several options including a g meter but I usually leave it on digital speed for a very important reason. In that mode it also shows navigation directions if using that and also which cog the auto box is in when in manual mode. Some radio stations show song and station, I don't go there.
