    1997 prado gxl 3.4 petrol auto
    329xxx kms
    With full log books every 10 000kms from new
    Bought it almost stock on 10/06/15

    Standard features:
    Power windows & mirrors
    Aircon ( still works very cold)
    Cruise control
    4 speaker stereo with cd player
    Duel fuel tanks 159ltr combind.


    Already has 245/75x16 hankook dynapro M/Ts
    Front suspension is recent replaced stock hight mabe 1" looks stock hight.

    My mods so far.
    Roof cage (second hand off a gu patol)

    Future mods:
    Snorkal. --DONE
    Light bar on roof cage. DONE
    Spotties on bull bar. DONE
    diff gearbox and transfer case breathers DONE
    Uhf. DONE
    Awning and roof toptent on roof cage
    Tow bar setup.
    And my stereo out of my old daily( alpine hu, fusion 6" speakers, fusion amp and sub). DONE
    + more as time goes on

      i will post some more up once iv had a chance to give its good clean, and as new parts get fitted too

      did re position the roof cage this morning sits much better i think.

      next job is the holy s@#t bar on the passenger side of the dash is loose at one end.
      im guessing i can unclip the lid on top the dash above the bar and there will be a bolt in behind it

        today i finished wiring up my stereo in the prado today. and replaced the blown front speakers. sounds quiet good.
        other then that i clean all my spare wheels out of the back of my other toy from when i went totest and tune @ willowbank raceway last saturday night.

            finally got off my ass and fitted my snorkal.


            otherwise just been driving it and enjoying some nice county rds and a little more mud too




            next job is to fit diff breather kit when it arrives

              diff breather kit has arrived.
              ill hopefully get off my ass and fit it this weekend, then head back up the bush for a play

                Diff breather kit is now fitted.
                Front and rear diffs were easy to do. Gearbox and transfercase were real anoying to fit.
                due to access beeen pretty crampt.

                oredered a light bar for the roof cage so that will be the next job.

                also sussing out my suspension as it seems to be low in the front

                Front guard gap to bottom of wheel lip. 715mm

                rear at 770mm.
                So i think the front has sagged or the rear has a 1" lift. Suspension apeers to be stock.

                  so now the prado has a light bar mounted on the roof cage/rack.

                  also ordered spacers for the front to bring it up 40mm and bring it to almost level with the rear.

                    so the prado now has the rear spacers fitted so it sits level allround.
                    i have added the spotties and uhf now
