I got a price on these yesterday, which was a bit high, but the local dealer said don't buy them yet as they are doing a special in a week or so's time apparently.

    Cheers Andrew

Hi Andrew what price did you end up getting the tyres for? I am looking at upgrading the Cooper AT3's towards the end of the year.

          Thanks

$360 each, fitted and balanced but that's in the country with no competition.

            Cheers Andrew

Had good dealings with Cornells on two occasions, picked tyres up without fuss from local transport depot.
You just have to factor fitting into the equation.

The local tyre dealer has a sign up on the front door stating they have a MINIMUM $35 charge per tyre for fitting tyres not purchased in store. Might pay to actually get a fitting price before buying on EBay.

                  Cheers Andrew

                    And tyre disposal too.
A lot of tyre joints will sting you for that too if you dont purchase from them.

I guess that would be one consolation of city livin, more competitive pricing on product and service.
While I'am a believer in buying local to support the local business, they need not take the p... proverbial.

Are the standard BFG A/T still available or is the KO2 replacing it (sorry haven't read all of the thread).
I got a price today for BFG's in A/T 265/65/17 for $290.00 ea inc F&B and disposal of the old ones so I don't know if they were old A/T's or KO2's. This was from Bob Jane so I don't think they were grey imports. Worst price was $365.00.
Regarding stock, two tyre joints both said a new container landed yesterday and should take 10 days to clear but with the trouble on Sydney wharves at the moment if could be longer.

Yeah I was told by my tyre bloke that the KO's are being ran out and not being produced anymore.
Thats why I went the KO2's as I dont really want to be out the back of nowhere with a shot tyre and not able to get an exact replacement!

Glad I found this thread!! I am just about to go through this process.

I have the 120 series with the stock wheels 265/65/17. The KO2 doesn't come in this size but has them in 265/70/17 - any reason why these wouldn't fit? Because when I called yesterday they said no tyres available for you!

I really want these and really need some tyres.

A lift is required so that the tyres don't rub on the fronts if you go with the 70's.
