No lift needed for 265/70R17. However being a square shouldered tyre that the KO2s are, it may rub on the chassis.

I had 265/70 BFG's on my first Prado with a 2" suspension sag and they didn't rub

Got my wheels done. They do rub but only when I turn on the left hand side. This is because the guard on that side is not flush like the right side. So will try and fix that. Love the tyre so far, thought it would be noisier than my current Pirelli's because of the tread, but they are not.

Thats odd, mine dont rub at all?
But agreed on the tyre noise - they are bloody excellent for an all terrain!
I rekon there is more tyre noise off the Michelins on my wifes accord than my all terrains!

If they rub, might need a good wheel aligner to sort it out.

I had a good look at it and all sorted.

The reason why they were rubbing was the plastic mould on the inside of the mudflap. I will post some pics. It was sticking out a bit. Grabbed the heat gun and moulded it back, all good now!

After I used the heat gun. Will probably replace it later anyway, this one was a bit buckled for some reason.

Just got the KO2 265/70's fitted on my 120.
They replaced 265/65 KO's that had done 110,000 kms cannot complain

The KO2 are definitely quieter than the old KOs.

Had them fitted to my rig today as well, price ended up being lower than I was quoted

5 tyres fitted and balanced, $1710, so $342 each, cheaper than the KO's they replaced.

Cant comment on the noise, was listening to AC DC on the drive home so couldn't hear anything else

I just got mine today! 5 tyres fitted for just over $1700.
Only been on Tarmac so far but very impressed with lack of road noise.
Just need to get off road to try them out this weekend!

Good choice I think. Always wanted BFG's.

Side note. Haven't done a lift yet and the 265/70 R17s fit great. No rubbing.

Not long back from the first trip on ours, pretty happy with them. Hard to compare to the old KO's but they are at least as good, time will tell if they are better and by how much.
