Grande 2006 Diesel - 195,000 Km. I have a pesky graunch sounds like it is coming from top right of suspension, driver side. I removed front right wheel, and inspected for obvious wear, loose parts, joints etc. The only thing I noticed is the soft shocker dust cover sleeve rubs on the shocker. Any ideas on what would cause my pesky intermittent graunch noise from the front suspension area?

I would look further than the front right suspension. I recently diagnosed a problem that for all the world sounded like a left front CV, when in fact it turned out to be right rear stabilizer bar!

CURE! Put a big dollop of grease on the bolt head and where it runs on lower wishbone!

If this fails then you need to manipulate some rubber grease (Not normal grease or oil as it will rot & swell the rubber bushies out very quickly) into the sway bar bushies/ lower and upper wishbone bushies & shocki bushies.
Dry rubber bushies tend to give a grounchie sound!

SWR, Looked at the URL you sent above, and just by looking at the pic, and reading the descriptions, I reckon you have it. It graunched as described, just like entering the driveway etc. Thankyou SWR, I will grease the parts tomorrow.. .. Let you know.
p.s. I found I am getting old quick, trying to lift the wheel back on the wheel studs. Ha-ha.You can't help good equipment.
