Wouldn't be cheap I bet, although neither is the Prado so what the hey.
Look that pretty much sums it up... it does have some added benefits such as automatic starting at low voltages and low temperatures and plenty of outputs to switch on auxillary lighting from the remote control.
To give you some ballpark figures... With me as a Viper authorized dealer, this setup ranges from $800 upto about $1500 fully fitted with lifetime warranty on product and installation. The $1500 unit essentially gives you all the bells and whistles plus complete control and tracking via your mobile phone.
with this little fella added to it... http://www.vipersecurity.com.au/prod...-keyless-entry
Combine all that with the aftermarket push to start system like the 150 and I can give the 150 a run for it's money in technology when it comes to Vehicle Access.
Is the tracking a annual subscription? or works off sat?
I read in my 150 manual (2014/Aug build) and it said I can call Toyota service and they can unlock my car etc etc if I get into trouble. Not sure if that only applies to all models though.
Saying all this, what does a after market alarm have over the factory 150 alarm in features other then remote start and gps tracking?
