Anyway, lots of good advise.

Low Klm's is more important as long as its genuine Klm's.
Service history is very important.
Age only matters because the uv wrecks everything. So cosmetic really.
5 speed auto is the go.

We are buying new with some ARB and TJM addons. More to come as funds are available. Delivery date is closing in and excitement is building.
We are getting the GXL for the extra row of seats. Kids are getting bigger and want to bring friends camping etc.
ARB and TJM do steps for the 150 but don't count them as Sliders. They are listed as Airbag compatible.

Watch those TJM side steps. They are not the strongest, perfectly good for steps. I have seen the brackets hitting on the body, not a good design.
The Powerfull 4x4 I have seen & also fitted a few sets to 150's & the owners are very happy with them. They are sliders also.

I its easy to lift a grande .

Half a bag of anfo under the transmission should do it.

I have been looking for post sept 2004 when the auto changed. Looking for low kms with good service history. Are the earlier models more prone to the body cracking I have read about or is it purely bad luck.

Luck of the draw and how they have been treated. The more I look, the more cracked 120 inner guards I find......
