March 1999 5VZFE Map Sensor

Hi All,

I have the 03/1999 90 series (3.4L).

Where would I find the MAF sensor and is it an easy job to clean. Pics of location would be great.

MAF sensor is the box with the plug that's attached to the top of the air filter box. Remove the hose and couple of 10mm bolt's and she'll fall out. Becareful... It has small fragile wire's inside. DO NOT touch. Only use MAF cleaner and no high pressure air. Goodluck

I don't know if there's a difference between models, but mine (2001) is immediately after the main air box, held in by 2 small Philips head screws/bolts.

Easy to clean, just spray with MAF cleaner.
