After owning my vehicle for 9 years, yesterday I came to the embarrassing realisation that something has been missing the entire time I'd owned the vehicle, and it had literally been right under my nose every time I opened the hood.
It seems that the two scoops attached to the radiator support that direct air up under the second skin into the intercooler have been missing since I bought the vehicle and now I'm wondering what affect its having on the intercooler, particularly as the rubber seal that fits over the intercooler itself has also seen better days. Below is a picture (I got off the web) of the parts in question. Anyone care to comment?
