Replacement shock for prado kakadu 150

Hi,

I was wanting to replace my shock absorbers, i dont do much heavy offraod driving and would like something similar to the OEM shocks or a little better in the prado kakadu 150 (KDSS) any suggestions please. a friend of mine told me about Ultima shock absorbers. are they any good??????

Hey,

I know you're driving a 150, but a good first port of call is to have a squiz at the 120 series Suspension Database;

There you'll see the factory 150 strut is 432-555mm, and the rear shock is 365-574mm.

If you're wanting to keep the OEM travel limits and not lift the car, there's quite a few options.

Maybe the Kakadu gurus have some more appropriate suggestions, but if you've got the coin, consider the Koni RAIDS, you will never need to buy another shock again, they are huge!
