I recently replaced my 4 injectors, rail and suction control valve on my 07 1KD all with new parts. I also removed and cleaned out my manifold. Prior to this apart from a slightly rough idle every now and then that I put down to the EGR valve sticking sometimes and a little thirsty my vehicle was running fine. I just changed the parts as it has done 260000km and thought I'd give it a birthday. Ever since I done all this it has a slight diesel rattle but only when you floor it and it's just above 3000 rpm it just gets this little rattle that I know was never there before. Any ideas. The new injectors have been coded correctly so I'm not too sure what it is. The noise is defiantly worse when cold and nearly but not completely disappears when hot. There are no fault codes.

Well usually injector issues are the cause if knocks & rattles.
Where did u get your injectors?
Could be many causes. How's the fuel pressure?

The are denso injectors from Australia Fuel Injection. Not sure on the fuel pressure but will check when I get back from work. I didn't check for blow by. I am assuming you mean crankcase blow by. I did run the breather into a catch can. Why do you ask.Comment
