Looking to replace the old shoe's with a new set of treads. Has anyone heardabout/used the Cepek Fun Country 17" and can report good or bad. Or any other idears for around the same price (Quoted $299- on sale)

    Cheers in advance.

Yep I reckon they're great . I have the FC 265/70R/17 and am very impressed. Great in the mud and not too noisy but mine only have around 3-4000 km on them. I paid $370 with free alignment & the best I've heard of is $350 so I'd buy 6 for that price . Nice deep tred too 14.8 mm I think. 3-ply side wall
          Cheers Matt

well I am a bit biased at the moment as I have just put a set of Yokie A/TS on my 150 and love them.
I think they sell for around $340 a tyre over on the east coast.
We sell them here and we give every 4th at half price so that's $300 a tyre average for 4.. I could probably arrange a set for you in brissie if it interested you.
Other than that I am an old BFG fan but they are a bit more expensive.. hoping to have some KO2's to test shortly

Thinking I might just hang out for the KO2's. The guy selling the Cepek's had nothing good to say about the BFG A/T, saying don't self clean well in mud and chip blocks etc. I see them on every second 4wd so can't be that bad and design has not changed in years so again must work.... Right? :-)

Been running BFGs for many years now both on current car and my old 98 Prado. I have 2 sets: ATs on my alloys and MTs on my steel rims. One puncture in last 7 years. Probably the most common tyre up here in the Kimberleys.
