Not sure i like the idea of the doors locking if your out in the bush.
Especially if the wife is driving

Do the doors unlock in an accident? Some units have it in the description and it works off sudden deceleration and I imagine it has to have some inbuilt detector.
Hi, I ordered the speed lock only for prado as all i wanted was lock. (awaiting delivery)
However I was interested in the mirror fold, window close and drive lock doors, AIO but opted for the singular as I couldn't get an answer from the seller.
To anyone with the unit:
The question was, can I leave a window open or partially open and still lock the car without the obd taking over and closing it?
As far as I can tell, you can press 3 times lock to close windows and open etc, but they state when locking they close. (which means i cant leave a window cracked open a bit.
got a question here: instruction indicates that pressing the remote Lock will fold the mirrors and Unlock to unfold the mirrors, will it fold/unfold the mirrors when I touch the door handle instead of the remote? My Prado is MY16 2.8TD AUTO.

Yep. Anytime your door lock actuators operate, the mirrors will follow regardless of the way you unlocked it. Even using tail gate unlock button will open the mirrors and vice versa.
Hi All,
Looking for some help with this. I have a January 2013 150 GXL and I bought the Toyota Avensis T27 Prado folding mirror kit on ali-express.
The kit as two separate wires for lock and unlock. I connected the pink wire (12v+) from the module to the red wire in the top left position of the white plug in the drivers footwell. I have connected the green wire from the module to the green wire (locking signal) top right of the grey plug. At this point the mirrors fold on locking but do not unfold until the start button is pressed. Also at this point I can't unlock by touching the handle. So it seems I need an unlock signal but I can't find one. I'm not sure if I have the right module, maybe the one I have is only for the updated 150 Prado's? Or have i just connected incorrectly? Or if I find the unlock signal will my problem be solved? If I manually, momentarily apply 12v to the grey wire (unlock signal) the mirrors do unfold. Has anyone with an older model 150 got this module to work properly?

The green wire on the grey plug is actually is for the turn signals (not the door lock actuators) so the system only works one way like you have found. Check my post from a couple of weeks ago with the pics. I use the black plug above the grey plug instead. This black plug carries the door actuator lock and unlock signals.
