tcs issue after front wheel bearing change

thanks everyone, will contact the toyota dealer who supplied me with the wheel bearings and see what they say.......... I am baffled how they can mix this up, they used my vin number to check!

Well the ones here have been known to service diesels as petrols based on the VIN

the bearings are wrong ........... I have been pulling my hair out over this only to find the parts guy made a stupid mistake!

Thanks for the help guys, I guess the only real benifit is that I learnt quite a bit about troubleshooting issues on the prado.

Mate, I am going through the same thing with my 120. Onto the 3rd bearing and still has a fault with the speed sensor. Sensor itself checked out ok.

Seems there are alot of non-abs bearings being flogged off as abs ones. No way of visually checking either.

yup mine is back up and running, I was pleasantly suprised that toyota gave me replacement bearings even though the bearings I returned were completly destroyed after they were pulled off the hub.
