And the lunatic CMGs who sit on the centreline perched on their Harleys, no lights and 30 to 40 above the speed limit coming towards you. I like to run the edge of the bulbar 2mm inside the centre line and see who will chicken out first.

Having said that, I would like to distance myself entirely from the self identified Harley owning crowd. Especially those knob jockeys with screaming eagle pipes fitted to their bikes. Said bikes and riders are usually adorned by every available piece of branded merchandise that can be had. Fortunately, these types are easily spotted and easily avoided.
(P.S. - Only a motorcycle rider knows why a dog loves sticking its head out of a moving car window)

My favourite comment about Harley's came from a Top Gear episode. Clarkson was driving a Mustang Shelby in a race against May and Hammond who were using public transport. May was concerned that they stood no chance against the high HP Mustang. Hammond who owns an original Shelby put it like this: you know how people who don't know anything about bikes think Harley's are fast but they're really a bit rubbish? Yes. Well the Shelby is like that.
I mostly ride off road, what little riding I do these days, but I have ridden many varieties including sports bikes, commuters and a couple of Harleys. I honestly don't get it. Harleys don't go, they don't handle and one that belongs to a mate has been so heavily worked with another manufacturer's engine is almost unrideable. So much vibration and too much torque. The mirrors bounce so much you could be mistaken for thinking the thing behind you at the lights is a mini. Or a Kenworth.Last edited by mjrandom; 26-05-2015, 06:54 AM.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic
