Free rotate & bal very 10,000k. Proper Aussie bfg from mitchellin, not grey imports from Thailand with soft compound.

Jax Essendon. Tell them I sent you.
How do you tell the difference btw the proper Aussie ones and the Thailand ones?

Extract below from BFGoodrich AU Facebook page regarding the KO2's arrival here.

BFGoodrich Tires Australia & New Zealand Hi Marcus, the 275/70R17 won't be in Australia in 2015, the 265/70R17 and 285/70R17 will arrive in June. Hope that helps.

Country of manufacture should be on the tyre casing, at least it is with my Bridgestone D697s.

A mate got some fitted to his 200. They have no "Made in..." anywhere. They have KO them and Baja on them. Lots of other crapola on them.

Paid app $420 for Coopers st maxis which seemed a bit steep on my Landcruiser Ute which I use predominately on farm.
Am looking for suggestions for 2014 Prado which has just hit 50,000 ks on original Dunlop tyres. Very interested in above posts as I am not sure which Tyre to go for.
My usage is on Prado is app 4 ks of gravel road per day and occasional off road maybe 10 - 20 percent gravel off road and 80 percent on road so any advice would be appreciated.

I have had a set of Maxiss AT 700 on my wagon that where fitted when I got the car, now done 94000 km with still some life left, started looking around in size 265 65 17 BFG'S AT $330 , the Jaxs tyre dealer suggested the new Maxiss AT 980 that have a tread very similar to BFG'S looked ok, quoted $250 so tempted to give a go as it is a save of $400 on 5 tyres.

Got a set of BFGs LT 265/65/R17 fitted today. Called the usual parallel importers in Sydney. One quoted $300 each. In stock and fitted. The local tyre chain guy matched it w/o a problem. Should be regular Aussie stock. Are stamped to be made in USA and have the 120 load rating. Maybe BFG is clearing stock for next generation atm.

No price listed for the 265/65/R18 yet but the 285/65/R18 is $668! Would they like both arms and legs with that? Both listed for Q2 2015 availability.

The 265/70/17 only has a load rating of 112. Hmm I wonder how accurate that is and if there is higher ratjngs That can be ordered

Very hexy indeed. Im guessing they should be available at a better price as the RRP on there website for the old 265/70-17 is $429 and they could be brought a lot cheaper than that.

One can only hope. I paid $370 for the last D697 I bought and they didn't even have to fit it to the rim, 18" tyres are expensive.
