Dent in boot from possible over extending door hitting tail light on 2014 prado?

Hey, anyone with a 2014 GXL who has found a dent between the spare tyre and tail lights? I found an unexpected dent in my boot a few weeks back and on closer inspection, it matches the tail lights as they sit out a cm from the line of the brake light. Spoke to service today who were not helpful and said the boot can't over extend and hit...but the dent matches the light perfectly and there is no other damage to the rear to suggest someone ran into the car, plus the crease peak matches with a angled impact. Ive tried to attach a pic of it and have place dots around it. - image is sideways sorry

I don't think that is caused by the plastic lens of a tail light. I think the tail light plastic would be damaged as well.

There does seem to be a big gap between the door and lens in any case. Looks unusual.

Sure looks like it. Has anyone touched your Prado? Perhaps the strut was disconnected at some point in time and someone forgot and let the door swing open.
