Happy to test on the Grande if you like. My current shocks are causing a bit of carsickness to my kids on twisty roads.

Guys.. Response I got today regarding Foamcell Pro in the kakadu verbatim

"If the shock absorbers have any form of connectivity attached, it is not recommended to replace them, as the vehicle will give error codes.

Also, the rear airbags are not suited to extended travel shocks and may be damaged.

So we would not recommend it.

The KDSS system in some model Prado`s is handled in the same manner as the Landcruiser 200 series"

There is a fitment instruction on the Ironman4x4 website for KDSS in a 200 series which this refers

        GreenDog,

I would be happy to let Ironman use my Kakadu as a mule for fitting rear shocks to. So long as its here in brisbane.

        cheers
        Geoff

I got a quote for the adjustable foam cell pro fitted for $1730. It is in the same price range with the top contenders.

The Kakadu owners here who have replaced their suspension with aftermarket versions have not reported such issues with throwing codes.

I have airbag spacers to deal with over extension of airbags.

Sounds about right. The shocks retail at $286 front, $220 rear, each.

springs front $187 for the performance or constant load for a pair. Rears are $187 for performance or $198 for constant load per pair.
Full kits are $1386 so good saving to buy the whole kit

I was shopping around yesterday for a good suspension upgrade and one of my local dealer gave me a quote on EFS XTR big bore 45 mm for a price of $1500 fitted (incl alignment and balance).
After speaking to an EFS rep, I was informed that they do not make EFS XTR in 45 mm and the XTR that they have only comes in 40 mm which they do not fit on a Prado 150.
I am thinking of moving my plans forward in relation to upgrading my suspension but I am currently undecided on which one to go for.

So, has anyone (aside from GD) fitted the Ironman foam Cell Pro to their car yet, and can you please provide some initial feedback as I'm seriously considering this system.
Prado 150 2014 GXL 3.0 TTD - gone after it failed me bad. Now MY16 GXL TTD 200

After reading thru the 45000173 posts on suspension upgrades, I am also considering this system. As a newbie to the whole experience, I want to get a decent setup the first time. I am just waiting to get an ARB Deluxe steel winch bar and have scored a Warn M12000 with swr cheap (overkill I know but cheap is good) and a dual battery system. I know there is a bit of the Fords and Holden thing as well involved. We will be towing a van around the 2 - 2.5k mark and want to do the Simpson and NW, with or without the van at times.

I got a quote today for an Old Man Emu Kit (EK2103C2) 200 - 400kg load, 50mm lift, for approx $1,700 fitted. This kit is using the Nitro Charger Sport shocks.

I also got a kit today for an Ironman Kit (TOY065CKP) with 0 - 300kg load, 45mm lift, for approx $1,700 fitted. This kit is using the Foam cell Pro shocks.

I am leaning towards the Ironman Foam Cell Pro system at this stage.

I also have a pair of standard airbags in the rear at the moment. The mechanic says that they maybe able to source a spacer, so these airbags can continue to be used, otherwise, I could just buy another pair of bags, to suit the longer spring.

I am looking to have it fitted before Easter.

Spoke to every suspension place in town and surprisingly they all sell the best suspension for the Prado..

Still have no idea what to get. Read the suspension forums and still none the wiser...
I'm the same, do they make them for a 90 series

I have ordered my Ironman Foam Cell Pro shocks, 0 - 300kg springs and new Airbags to suit for the Prado.

All going well, they should be fitted next week, just before Easter.

                                Hi All

I have picked up the Prado tonight with the Ironman Foam Cell Pro lift kit with airbags in the rear.

The guys that sold and fitted it, reckon it went in well, with no issues, and test drove beautifully.

I drove it home, only a couple kms, and it felt a lot more solid, with less body roll and a bit higher (surprise , surprise...)

We are going camping and 4x4ing over Easter, so very keen to give it a test and report back.

I will also get the measurements pre and post fitment from Repco.

                                Cheers

                                Pog
