    GD,

Can you please advise what part number for the 50mm lift spring to suit bar/winch/dual batts. Also, PM me your business contact details, as i would like Ironman here in Brisbane to hear the linishing comments from another supplier. I have a Kakadu and will be fitting the rears and fitting the airbag spacers as well

    cheers
    Geoff

Front Spring is TOY065C which is for 50-100kg over standard
Rear is your call depending what load you want, TOY056B for up to 300KG or TOY056C for 300KG to GVM.
I put the B in the rear and got 60mm lift initially, and tow a 2.5t caravan.. rides perfectly so would go the C spring unless you had a really have boat etc with more towball weight than my van

You may want to check with Ironman as I think you may not be able to fit them to a Kakadu.
I offloaded my kakadu recently for that reason and downgraded to the Povo pack GX.. In saying that I am stoked how it tows now, better than the kakadu

When i went in to Ironman on the southside here in Brisbane, they said they would fit no problems. I asked about UCA clearance, they also said it would be no problems. What fitment issues would be related to the front of a Kakadu?

          cheers

Surely they did not released a set of beefy shocks without thinking about the fitment of the springs for the Prado 150?

Delete the rear coils from the kit and problem solved. No?

That is the way I see it AMTS, but occasionally we are all wrong. I haven't actually fit a set of these to a Kakadu, but they should fit no worries just like any other shock.

The only issue with the 150 is the Kakadu rears.. the shock/spring clearance issue is simply cosmetic and was resolved in minutes. Yes it is a beefy shock, but the front 150 coils have one end very narrow which you have to slide the strut through. Its at this time only there is a clearance issue not when its fitted up.

At this point is there any issue fitting these tot the 120 series models?

airbag / load levelling rendered useless..
Ironman confirmed this today however their advice in brisbane contradicts this..
they are coming to see me tomorrow, hopefully with an answer which both sides of the country agrees with..
I am just the messenger.. we have only fitted the Foamcell Pro to the GX 150.. Our Kakadu still runs factory so this is an answer I am looking forward to getting

There won't be any issues in that area. The issue is with a lean after being lifted. This is mainly sorted out too.

This design front strut should make it very easy to get the suspension height perfect on a Kakadu. The rear is easy to adjust with washers to the height you want, the front with the threaded collar to adjust the spring seat height should be easy to remove "KDSS lean". These look like a really good thing for VX & Kakadu owners.

amts.. thanks for that heads up mate.. fancy a trip over to perth to experiment with us on a kakadu??

AA.. only issue with the adjustable front struts is that its not like a passenger car adjustable, the strut has to come out each time you need to adjust. Whereas a passenger car adjustable can be done in the vehicle.
