Yes well spotted Craig . This was a bit of a rush job Friday evening to cut the ally & get it fixed on & my mate sourced the bolts but no washers. It looks as though some will have room to fit spring washers on & the others where there is not enough room cause the bolts are on a slight angle I'll back off and give a liberal dousing of blue locktite thread locker . I'll put locktite on all regardless anyway so there's no way they'll be falling off.

Thanks Dakbow , they turned out better than I expected as well although after designing these I've found out what not to do to make them work better if there's ever a second time round, but yeah very happy.
Cheers Matt

About a month ago I decided to measure my ride height cause when I was parked next to a mate at work who drove an 04' with no lift I couldn't tell that much of a difference. I had my prado lifted with an OME 2" lift a year ago and have done around 10000 km and since my 500km check the drop has
been FL-14mm, FR-0mm, RL-17 mm &RR-5mm. Since then the only weight that has been added has been custom sidesteps approx 20 kg each side and an ARB awning on the left hand side. My 500km ride height was measured with a 1/4 tank which was the same with my measurements. Booked it in today for a checkup at ARB on 8/1/15 so I hope I can get some positive feedback as I have only done 10000 km since the lift and don't believe this amount of drop should be expected from new suspension.
Cheers Matt

I took the car in this arvo to have my OME suspension checked for my concerns as listed in the previous post. After the car was inspected by a mechanic , the salesman came to see me & agreed my measurements were correct. He offered to install some packers at no charge to me , (not today) & asked if I would be happy with this. I asked if the LHS suspension could be replaced as I didn't think it would be normal for this amount of drop to be acceptable after 11000km from new . I do have a very limited knowledge when it comes to suspension but from what I've read here on PP , yes the spacers would lift the LHS up to level but the suspension would not be performing how it is supposed to , especially after paying a pretty penny for the install.
The salesman didn't seem to think the drop would be bad enough for OME to warrant a claim , but after hearing my concerns is going to email them about my situation . The OME warranty states that "OME warrants each component sold by a licensed fitter against defects in workmanship & material which caused it to perform below the specifications contained in the current OME fitting manual for a distance of 40000km or 2 yrs whichever comes first" I will have to find this to see if it is acceptable for this much drop after 12 months and 11000kms. I would appreciate anyone's comments on how they would handle this or what might be a fair outcome for me.
Thanks for your comments Matt

Today I connected both 70L water tanks on the camper together. The front tank supplied a hand pump & rear tank supplied the switch operating the pump for the kitchen sink. I drained both tanks & took the bungs down to the irrigation shop to get 2 taps with the same thread. Connected everything and refilled the tanks and packed the car and camper ready for a 5am departure for 5 days at Fraser Thursday morning. We found we used the sink more than the hand pump & the rear tank would empty first so this should fix that problem.

Good luck with your suspension issue Matt. I think ARB will come to the party, however after they have tried to resolve it, try contacting Sam (he use to be a Prado owner and is now the man behind ARB Accessories as a member on here), as often he will refer the issue to Head Office.
