Hi All, I was wondering if anyone knows if 245/75 R17 will fit under the spare wheel cover on a 2012 GX? Standard tyres are 245/70 R17, so not sure if the extra 25mm diameter will cause a problem? Appreciate your advice.

Hi Peter, Thanks for that. On a side, how do you find the Wranglers? I am about to replace the original tyres on my GX, and am keen to hear how they go on a Prado. I have the new Wrangler Adventurer on my work truck (Triton) and they have great. I am also considering the new Toyo AT2's. Anyway, keen to hear if what you or any of the other crew think. Thanks again.

Hi KCB,
I am using the Wrangler Silent Armour tyre pattern. This is my second set. I got just under 90,000km from the first set and would have made it to 100,000km but my front right chopped out after a little hard kerb action. I also like that these are standard issue on the Jeep Wrangler, so there are some good deals about from those Jeep owners that have upgraded from new. My current set of 5 cost $600 plus F&B.
Most of my driving is on country black top with a little gravel and sand. My only uncomfortable experience was hard braking in the wet accross a steel expansion joint on a bridge, a seat clenching moment but recovered well when they grabbed on the bitumen. I don't think anyting else would have performed better.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
