Tried relocating reverse camera to my number plate so I could see the towball when hooking up. That was the easy part plenty of wire in the loom for the job. Problem is the standard camera isn't a wide enough angle so bought an after market wider angle one .A bit grainy pic and no colour checked the voltage to the camera and only 6 volts ?. Most require 12 volts ANY IDEAS.

Thought about 12 volts from reverse lights but had already fixed up the wiring . Checked through the masses of links here and looks like I messed up the camera I got is PAL should be NTSC. All fixed Up graded the tyres to 265/70s got rid of the gay wheel cover and put original camera back in its place and presto I can see the tow ball.

Thanks have been doing that but now the cover has gone I can actually see the ball. I was thinking of changing the hitch to the new Mc job as my van is a Jayco outback gross at 2500kg and I like the idea of the 360 degree articulation.
