I was told not to use drilled rotors slotted only !! Supposidly catch stones and mud in the holes?? ..... Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet -

x2. In fact not a great fan of drilled rotors at all, on or off-road. Usually find if the brakes are worked hard the rotors will crack through the drilled holes. Go for grooved/dimpledOriginally posted by amts View PostComment

Used to be a fan of drilled but since ive started using dimpled and slotted rotors. All the good parts of drilled rotors like dust and heat dispersion without the cracking and debris getting caught inside.Comment
