    I was told not to use drilled rotors slotted only !! Supposidly catch stones and mud in the holes?? ..... Cheers Steve

      Yeah, no drilled rotors on 4WDs that do actual offroading.

        OK, kinda thought that - but thanks for second, third opinions!

        Will have to look elsewhere. There is no stickie on this thread - but what are the rotors of choice?

              x2. In fact not a great fan of drilled rotors at all, on or off-road. Usually find if the brakes are worked hard the rotors will crack through the drilled holes. Go for grooved/dimpled

                Used to be a fan of drilled but since ive started using dimpled and slotted rotors. All the good parts of drilled rotors like dust and heat dispersion without the cracking and debris getting caught inside.
