Tailshaft "clunk" warranty denied due to lift

I have lift, I have new tail shaft. Took two goes to get it done. First time they greased the unit. Second time they replaced it. Cheers.

And as a further update, we still haven't returned to get the new tailshaft fitted but the "clunk" has returned to the existing one less than 1000kms after they greased it.

Thanks guys, that pretty much confirms my suspicions they are just trying to dodge the claim.

Has anyone had success getting it changed at a WA dealer, I'm off to find a new one?

I complained from the first service, they regreased it twice and at the 30K service they replaced it for the upgrade one.
Ive got 2" lift. The guy behind the counter did say they had to sign off to Toyota that the lift didn't cause the issue, but that it wasn't the problem.

Midland Toyota have been quite good with all my warranty stuff.

Any one know if they have fixed this issue with the newer Prados we have a Jan 16 prado and on rare occasions get a clunk just off idle, when I was under the car doing the rear diff breather I noticed some light golden oil sitting on the rear shaft pinion seal covering going into the gearbox, any thoughts ?
