Very glad you all had a great time even with he diff drama, I think we would of been chasing you up the hills ��.

Bring on the next big snow drive, could be next year if this warm weather stays .
Next time Ben you could always get in my 120 and drive me around, just don't blow your diff to do it.

Ha ha thanks Anders. I'm chasing up parts now, hopefully back on the tracks again soon. Kids and I are keen to come back again tomorrow! Will probably be next season though.

I'm heaps keen to get down there for the weekend of August 22nd. I'm from Sydney but can't find anyone to come down with me.

I'll be leaving Sydney on Friday 22nd AM with the aim of camping on the snow Friday and Saturday nights. So far i'll be on my own and will be heading to Mt Terrible and Mt Matlock with my limited knowledge using the Hema High Country Atlas.

JPH, you keen for a trip on the 22nd?

I'm keen Sunday would suit us better as the kids are at Mums Friday and Saturday. The boys haven't seen snow yet, so I'll be heading somewhere on Sunday with them either way. If your keen Anders let me know.

Not too good. Couldn't find someone to go with so changed plans and went local. Went out, helped some people who got stuck in a river / riverbank and after winching a few hours it got late and rainy, tried to head back home and got stuck in mud and wrote the car off. Luckily insurance paid but was only insured for market value.

So i lost my pride and joy...

Crickey, good to help out someone, but not good to end up in the poo.
On a positive note, if u get a new rig set up, you might be able to come down for a snow trip next year.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed them & that will be on every year, at least 2 trips.

I'm super keen for a snow trip and will be on next year's one for sure.

Flew up to QLD this morning and picked up a stock 07 VX D4D, also bought his camper trailer (couldn't pass up the offer).

Kept 80% of my gear so will move it straight onto this one. Have just over a month to get it ready for my High Country Trip on the Melbourne cup weekend.

On my way back to Sydney now...
