Hi Pradopointers,
I’m a ‘cruiser owner since about 1976.
With the Prado 150 I now have excessive travel (10-11 clicks) on the handbrake.
I have adjusted the brake shoes at the wheel but his has had little effect on travel. Pad to drum feel is good - no scraping to indicate wear.
Can it be brake cable stretch?
If so how is brake cable length adjusted? This was obvious on the 90 and 120 series Prado’s (also the 40 and 70 series LCs) but the 150 has me baffled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
