Looks like it went fantastic Chris. Thanks for the pics. I too would have thought 37's would be over sized for a Prado but how wrong that assumption is, it looks great!

Having done some chassis welding recently I have an idea of how you may have felt before the test. It's a great relief and joy to succeed ay?

haha, nice, 1UZ, and SO CLEAN! I was thinking to do that upgrade one day, but the charger is already fantastic.

I see a front cross brace has been cut - so that's already in your engine bay?? Given your making that space, you'll be staying with a mechanical fan?

Glen I wish it was already in my engine bay. Pic has been shamelessly taken from a friends 4runner (Do you guys call them the surf). IIRC the front brace is only cut away to get the engine and box in and out in one piece. Bought another 90 today(well a 95) with a cooked head. Don't suppose anyone knows if the full lot (engine and box) will come out in one???

Going to see a ls400 tomorrow and another one on friday. I am quite tempted to get them both at less than £500/900AUD each and do the conversion on both trucks.

The 95 is going to have a much more sedate look and feel about it. Modest lift, AT tyres, Nice pretty HD bumpers, sliders, custom kitchen rear locker (as I have the back axle from Dirty Gal). Basically something to tow my beast to shows and events and be nice to camp in. Can anyone shed any light on what the TZ spec is?

This is the only "ding" on the new one.
