  • First touch of the brakes would throw/boil it out I presume but I'm no expert.

On yhe subject of diff breathers as it's something I've been considering... i saw on a 120 the other day that it had the old style car by fuel filters fitted as the breather. Thoughts?

    • Fuel filters as breathers is very common. Relatively cheap too just looks a bit how's your father.

          • I use the old style fuel filter for my diff breathers - I don't need fancy, just practical!

              • I must admit, the breather on the rear of mine is the old school fuel filter. Tucked up as high as i could get it in the rear left cavity, just below the rear pop out window. For the front diff, gearbox and transfer, I used some fitting's from enzed. I think they're exhaust muffler's from pneumatic tool/actuator's, and some fuel line. Job done for under $30

The to do list is getting shorter.

                • Video for Walky 88 and anyone else wanting to know how I did my roof light wiring without entering the cabin.

The only downfall I've found by running through the gutter is when it's raining and it's time for a smoke? ...all's good until I stop at the lights and the gutters can't drain down so it falls onto my arms and gets my smoke wet.... bastard.

                        • So yesterday bought a new head unit for the car. Its a Pioneer AVH-X2650BT unit on sale at Supercheap with a free reversing camera. The unit was only $357.

Here is the unit all installed

Looks it a DVD Player Too!!! I wired it up so it works all the time and just going to mount a hidden switch so i can flick the switch and then it won't work

Reverse Camera hidden so it won't get knocked

And its all bluetooth for safety for the wife while she drives.

I want to mount the microphone alot better but for now it will do. My missus loves it so there is at least one brownie point for me. Nearly out of the negatives -
