Hey, jumped back on here today and am seeing the pain I had to deal with over the last three years all over again!
Thinking about it, in the last three years my old Prado has had the following:
Timing belt
Timing belt idler
Timing belt tensioner
Camshaft seals
Rewired knock sensors
Intake valley gaskets
Rebuilt injectors
Harmonic balancer
Radiator
Upper and lower radiator hoses
Thermostat and housing
Davies Craig thermo fan
T2 rotors and pads front and rear
Rebuilt front and rear calipers
Rear axle seals
upper and lower control arm bushes and ball joints
Dobinson 2" lift
Swaybar links and bushes
Swaybar mount bushes
Rebuilt steering rack and bushes
Handful of other components and I'm just tuning the motor now with its new GM Delco ecu from a VS Commodore. Been through a dozen MEMCALs now finding the right tune. Getting quite good economy from it but down on power a bit too much. Around town I'm getting between 16-18L/100km compared to its previous 22-25.
